In July 2006, under the leadership of then President, Yvonne C. Rawls, leaders within the Mu Upsilon Omega Chapter formed and incorporated the Twenty Pearls Foundation. The goal of the foundation was to allow the chapter to continue its works within the community under the umbrella of a not-for-profit organization. The Foundation received 501(c)(3) status a year later in July of 2007. 

The Twenty Pearls Golf Scramble has been the signature fundraiser for the foundation in partnership with Mu Upsilon Omega chapter volunteers for the past fifteen years. Through this and other fundraisers, over $253,000 has been raised for college scholarships.
